Lidiya Borisenko (1965 ã.ð.)
Graduated Republic School of Arts (painting department) and State University of Arts and Crafts in Lviv (department of art textile).
Since 1994 Lydia has been the member of National Union of artists.
She creates her works using such technique as gobelin, embroidery, batik, drawing, pisanka, painting.
From 1986 Lydia Borysenko has taken part in more than 20 exhibitions, including international. Also held seven personal exhibitions.
A lot of works of artist are in private collections in Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Great Britain, Finland, Belgium, USA.
In our gallery there are not only paintings, but also works, made in ancient technique of drawing on the wood basis - "levkas". Such kind of art was brought to Kyivska Russ from Vizantiya in the X century.
In every Lydia's work you can feel spirit of Lviv intelligence. Painting, embroidery or any other her masterpiece - all they bring in themselves strong energy and warmness of Ukrainian land.
